The phenomenon that is Minecraft appears to be here to stay. 

Every eight year old in the country play's and I must be getting old because to be sure its a world that I just don't understand! but if every kid in the country is minecraft crazy then its a sure bet that every kids in the country is excited to be invited to a minecraft party.

So how to create a knock out themed party?  Here is our chance to get really creative as there aren't too many products you can buy, fortunately, its not too difficult to create it yourself.

Check out You tube for some really spectacular idea's for cakes my personal favourite is this Rosanna Pasino's dirt block cake which is super simple and super effective.

Creeper cupcakes are also super easy, if you can bake buns you make creeper cupcakes.  All you need are cupcakes, green frosting and coloured fondant icing, both in green and black.  Ice the buns with the green coloured frosting and roll out the green coloured fondant to about a 5 mm thick and cut into squares for the creeper face.  Roll out the black fondant and cut into the right block shapes to create the creeper face features.

The party invitations are also fairy easy to get right, as long as you have a printer and some green card stock, print the creeper face on one side of the card and the invite details on the reverse side of the card.  Don't worry about envelopes just hand out the hand made invitation postcards to lots of excited children. You can use exactly the same idea for thank you cards.
